POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is an integral part of our company. Responsible for recording financial transactions, ensuring legal requirements compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable

· Prepare check disbursements and 1099’s

· Process payments

· Perform banking, processing deposits, and all associated finance entries

· Conduct reconciliation of accounts

· Record and review day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

· Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month

· Monitor financial reports

· Process tax payments and reports

· Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data

· Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards

· Assist employees with setting up and maintaining health insurance

· Provide assistance to owners and team members as requested

· Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· Associate degree in accounting/finance or a minimum of 2 years bookkeeping/accounting experience

· Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications, including QuickBooks

· A general understanding of investment products

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills to balance and prioritize work

· Goal-oriented and results-driven

· Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

· Ability to analyze problems and develop viable solutions

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Microsoft Excel

Salary: $28.36 - $29.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
