Position title: Sales Consultant / Business Development

PeopleFirst HR Solutions is looking for an energized Sales Consultant to help build our business and brand in the greater La Crosse and Winona market. We are looking for a Sales Consultant to act as the sales team. Working closely with our Managing Partners, your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers, and expanding services with current customer base. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact building strong trusted relationships. Ultimately, you will boost our client base and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as partnership opportunities
Integrate Social Media in sales strategy
Contact potential clients through prospecting
Match and present our company to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Report accurately (weekly/monthly/quarterly) partner results
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Consultant or similar role an asset
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including prospecting)
Background with general HR practices and services an assess
Be familiar with emotional intelligence (EQ)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both external and internal clients
Ability to deliver engaging presentations including integrating companies core values and with our presentation
Have a keen sense of what the client isn’t telling you that will help you advise them on other services that we offer
Genuinely care about people and companies, get to know the people
Have the passion to push for what is right for both the client and the company.
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Experience with being able to have difficult, honest, and constructive feedback to internal clients when developing client programs.
Our desired candidate will have 1+ years of experience consulting with clients on human resources key areas or equivalent related experience.
