About Ian

A highly dedicated and accomplished executive with over 30 years of leadership experience (for profit and nonprofit) in corporate communications, mergers and acquisitions, leadership coaching and development, staffing and workforce planning, compensation planning, safety and risk management, food safety, and employment law. A leader and motivator with a reputation for translating organizational vision into profitable business and operational concepts with experience across multiple disciplines (human resources, sales, operations, information technology and marketing).

Prior to joining PeopleFirst, Ian had his own consulting practice. He was head of HR at both Reinhart Foodservice and Bruce Edmeades Company, with experience in both US and Canada. He also worked in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years. Ian is a graduate of Tyndale University and Conestoga College, and is certified with Everything DiSC, PXT Select and John Maxwell.
